Let the fun begin.

Ok. So we about to start construction of our new home and we're all excited. I'm going to try to document the construction of the home and post other little tid bits of info here. Public of San Diego designed the house and in their words....

"The Project is about erosion; of sand and rock, and time. It is about the uncovering of an artifact and the scarring that etches even the strongest material. The project will map these discoveries.

The project is constructed upon a series of sluice gates, or battlements. These heavy "of the earth" fragments are our basis of current knowledge, the foundation of our present and future.

The construction that takes place upon and around this history can not stand alone. It must reach down into the past, and either embrace, reject, or negotiate with it" Well said.
